Fundraiser at Gwen's Sunday

Join the Nate Willems campaign for a fundraiser at Gwen's Restaurant on Sunday, October 5. Join our local Lisbon and Mount Vernon supporters. The event will go from 3 - 5pm, and will be hosted by Mary Jo and Terry Lessmeier. Suggested donation is $25.

Debate and Canvass Saturday

This Saturday will be a busy day for the Nate Willems Campaign. At 9am we will be participating in the Mount Vernon League of Women Voters' debate at City Hall in uptown Mount Vernon. Later in the day we will be canvassing Mount Vernon, passing out Nate Willems literature.

House Party in Bertram Wed.

Come join Nate Willems at a house party in Bertram hosted by one of our supporters, Kay Graber, on the evening of Wednesday September 24th. Nate will be giving an overview of his postitions and take any questions, but most of all wishes to meet you all.

Labor Day Activities

This weekend will be busy on the Nate Willems Campaign. We will celebrate Labor Day by participating in the Sutliff Parade on Sunday at 11am. Come and join us help raise funds for the storied Sutliff Bridge. At the same time, Democratic Party staffers and volunteers will be canvassing Mount Vernon. If you are not already signed up, please do. The canvassers will carry around Willems literature.
On Monday we will be joining the Labor Unions in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids (IBEW). Come help us celebrate Labor Day! -
Sauerkraut Days Parade

Come join us for our last parade! We will be marching in the Lisbon Sauerkraut Days Parade. Since Nate's from Lisbon, and this is our last parade, AND Sauerkraut is involved, we're hoping to get as many people as possible to make it special. Come join the fun!!!
We will line up at 5th and Washington around 9am. The parade kicks off at 10. Hope to see you there!

Swisher Fun Days Parade

The Nate Willems Campaign will be attending the Swisher Fun Days Parade on August 2nd. Lineup is at 10 and the parade starts at 11. Come show your support by marching with Nate and other volunteers! As always, it should be fun!

Lincoln Cafe Fundraiser

This Sunday, July 27, the Nate Willems Campaign will be holding a fundraiser at the Lincoln Cafe in Mount Vernon. The event will begin at 5pm. Our host list includes, Ro Foege and Susan Salter, Congressman Dave and Terri Lobesack, Dr Julie Thomas, Melanie and Jason Friedman, among many others.

The Nate Willems Campaign is please to announce the launching of the new natewillems.com website. It will feature a blogging/news feature to keep everyone up to date on the campaign events and news while providing a visually pleasing environment.

Solon Beef Days

The Nate Willems Campaign, including the crowd-favorite Official Campaign Golf Cart, will be attending the Solon Beef Days Parade this Saturday the 19th. As always, we hope that our supporters can join us. So far all of our parades have been a huge success and a lot of fun!
